When a tugboat wants to pull an ocean liner it initially fires a weight attached to a silk string to connect them. As we approach the launch of magicnumber.com and I am finding myself busier than ever – juggling tasks, managing priorities and looking to make sure I do the right thing. When you’re in a position like this, the busyness can sometimes take over.  So many people find themselves leading crazy busy lives. When we’re crazy busy, we can feel overwhelmed, stressed out, anxious and our quality and enjoyment of life can deteriorate because we are just trying to do too much.

Yesterday evening, I spent some time on the phone talking to my friend Peter. Tragically, his mother has terminal cancer. She’s worked hard all her life – it’s a very sad situation. As a successful businessman, this has really made Peter think about his own life. During the call he said to me “Stefan, it’s made me realise that memories and stories are all you have left at the end – life is not a dress rehearsal”.
